Leslie Chen, M.S., L.Ac. B.S. Biology University of California, Los Angeles M.S. Oriental Medicine Samra University

Leslie is an acupuncturist licensed by the State of California. Her future in acupuncture began with a neck injury that occured after a Yoga accident. She sought treatment from traditional western medicine, which only gave her the options of surgery and pain medication.

Seeking a holistic and less invasive modality, she turned to family friend Shen Hsu, a well-known acupuncturist. Wanting to learn more, she began apprenticing with Shen, and he encouraged her to attend acupuncture school.

Leslie completed her Master's degree in Oriental Medicine at Samra University, the oldest school of Oriental Medicine in the United States. She also currently works at UCLA School of Medicine in the field of Lung Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease Research.
